Key Responsibilities:

- Perform all day-to-day Payroll processing for bi-weekly and monthly payroll, conducting payroll audits to ensure adherence to application policies and regulations.
-Resolve complex payroll processing & employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing.
-Answer payroll and tax related questions from employees.
-Ensure payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and all local regulations.
-Support Monthly and Quarterly close by reconciling payroll accounts.
-Review and analyze month/quarter end compensation accruals and expenses by region, state, franchise brand or restaurant.
-Review and implement process improvements for employee adherence to published T&E policies and audits.
-Maintenance and management of transactions related to 606 commissions.
-Collaborate with HR on employee hires, changes, and terminations.
-Collaborate with Benefits on payroll related deductions and benefit changes and updates.
-Collaborate with the team when needed to scale global payroll operations.










Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance, CPA or CPP is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years general accounting experience.
Advanced PC and/or Macbook skills, specifically with Word, Excel spreadsheets, Google Docs and downloading, importing and exporting files and google suite.
Experience with Netsuite and Workday.
Prior experience within SaaS/tech industry preferred or work with SaaS/tech clients.
Knowledge of operational accounting processes.
Knowledge of operational payroll processes.
Strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
Ability to collaborate & communicate effectively with internal partners on issues.
