GCHD is a rural hospital located in Pomeroy, Washington. We offer 25 beds, an emergency department, lab services, imaging services, and a medical clinic to our local community and beyond. GCHD originally opened its doors in 1948, on land the local community had donated to the city. In 1999 the hospital became the first critical access hospital in the state of Washington. The hospital and clinic offer community outreach programs such as chronic disease management, diabetes education, health education and screenings, immunizations, smoking cessation, and weight loss programs.
