Working closely with Sales, Product Development, and external agency partners, this person will translate brand and business priorities into compelling marketing programs that engage consumers, generate excitement, and support growth across our brands.

They are equally comfortable developing a marketing strategy, managing agency relationships, building partnerships, and driving execution in a fast-paced, growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Marketing Plans & Calendar

  • Develop and lead integrated brand marketing plans that build awareness, strengthen brand positioning, and support business and product priorities.
  • Own the brand marketing calendar, aligning campaigns, product launches, seasonal moments, PR opportunities, influencer activity, and key retail initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to connect brand storytelling with consumer interests, cultural trends, and relevant moments throughout the year.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure marketing plans are aligned with brand priorities and commercial objectives.
  • Establish clear objectives, priorities, and measures of success for key marketing initiatives.

PR Strategy & Agency Management

  • Lead public relations strategy and execution across assigned brands, working closely with Agency and other external partners as appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the PR agency, setting priorities, developing briefs, and ensuring programs align with brand and business objectives.
  • Identify compelling brand and product stories, media opportunities, and moments that can generate meaningful earned media coverage.
  • Oversee media outreach, product seeding, press opportunities, and communications planning.
  • Evaluate PR performance and identify opportunities to strengthen brand visibility and media relationships.

Influencer & Creator Strategy

  • Develop and lead influencer and creator strategies that build brand awareness, engagement, and consumer demand.
  • Identify relevant creators, communities, and cultural opportunities that align with each brand and its target audiences.
  • Develop creator briefs and programs that encourage authentic storytelling and compelling content.
  • Manage influencer partnerships and external resources, ensuring programs are aligned with brand objectives and deliver measurable value.
  • Identify opportunities to build sustained relationships with creators and communities rather than relying solely on one-off campaigns.

Channel Marketing, Exclusives & Launch Strategy

  • Develop consumer-facing marketing strategies that support key retail channels, customer initiatives, and product launches.
  • Partner with Sales and Product Development to identify opportunities for retailer exclusives and differentiated product offerings.
  • Develop marketing briefs and activation plans that bring exclusive products and key launches to life.
  • Ensure channel-specific marketing programs reinforce brand positioning while addressing the needs of retail partners and their consumers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to align campaigns, product availability, retail timing, and marketing support.

Licensing & Strategic Brand Partnerships

  • Identify and evaluate licensing, collaboration, and strategic partnership opportunities that can strengthen brand relevance and create new avenues for growth.
  • Explore partnerships with relevant entertainment, lifestyle, cultural, and consumer brands.
  • Assess opportunities based on brand fit, consumer appeal, strategic value, and potential business impact.
  • Develop partnership briefs and recommendations in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Work with Licensing, Product Development, Sales, and other stakeholders to bring approved partnerships to market.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing, partnerships, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in consumer products, toys, entertainment, lifestyle brands, or another consumer-facing business preferred.

  • Experience managing external agencies and creative partners.
  • Ability to identify relevant cultural trends and translate them into compelling brand opportunities.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Development, Licensing, and other business teams.
  • Strong project management, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Creative thinker with sound business judgment and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
