SUMMARY Lead and Manage technical repair team.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Effectively lead team of technicians. 

Direct workload assignments within team. 

Interface with internal and external customers. 

Interface with manufacturer's technical assistance. 

Provide technical and systems training within team.  

Research information to resolve repairs. 

Comprehend all procedures and systems.  

Evaluate candidates for jobs in department.  

Embrace and support the team's mission and goals.  

Understand the team's role and how it relates to other teams and the division.  

Ensure compliance with United Radio's policies and procedures, and quality systems.  

Performs related duties as requested. 

  

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Basic Electronics training. Completion of Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. CET certified. 5 years of experience in electronics. Customer relations training. Must participate in ongoing UR management training.  

  

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES  Must have working knowledge of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and be able to read manufacturers schematics. Must use proper soldering and desoldering techniques. People management skills. Leadership skills. Business skills.
