  • Maintain a safe work area, meet company targets for safety, and follow all PPE requirements.
  • Follow all company attendance policies and requirements.
  • Meet department targets for Production.
  • Meet department targets for Inventory related transactions (transfers, putaway, picking)

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Must be able to perform all distinct essential functions within the group/department.
  • Maintains inventory levels by identifying, labeling, stocking, and recording materials and supplies.
  • Recognizes damaged product during the warehousing process and takes the appropriate action when discovered.
  • Responds to material requests from internal customers.
  • Responsible and accountable for receipt, storage, and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Cycle counts inventory as needed.
  • Recommends countermeasure for inventory related discrepancies
  • Advanced skills on a powered industrial truck such as, but not limited to, forklifts or cherry pickers.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Five years of warehouse experience is required. Solid verbal communication and listening skills. Prior experience tracking and updating information in an ERP system is desired.

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Ability to maintain a satisfactory attendance record.
  • Demonstrated manual dexterity ability.
  • Willingness to be flexibility in moving between different job assignments.
  • Able to work overtime as required to meet production schedules.
  • Ability to be exact or accurate in performing tasks.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work under time pressure.

 

Normal Work Hours (all levels):

  • The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with day and evening shifts as needed, and occasional overtime, weekend, and holiday assignments.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS

Manufacturing:

  • Works predominantly on the manufacturing floor. May be exposed to heat, electrical and mechanical hazards, noise, solvents, dust, dirt, fumes, contaminants, cold, noise, vibration, etc.
  • Climbing, stooping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing and ability to move material weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to perform basic preventive maintenance tasks on tools and equipment.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, gas torches and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals and use measuring equipment.
  • Requires standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Must be able to walk and use hands.
  • Ability to read, write, listen, and communicate effectively.
