Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is looking for a skilled and dependable Building Maintenance Technician to help keep our buildings and grounds safe, functional, and welcoming.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: 240 North Ave, Penn Yan, NY (Yates County)
On-Call: Participation in an evening and weekend on-call rotation
What You'll Do
As a Building Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep our facilities operating safely and efficiently through a variety of hands-on maintenance and repair work. You'll:
- Perform general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and building repairs
- Complete preventive maintenance and facility inspections
- Assist with renovation and improvement projects
- Safely operate power tools and maintenance equipment
- Support grounds maintenance and seasonal needs, including snow removal
- Work with supervisors and maintenance team members to complete projects efficiently
- Help maintain safe, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for the people we support and our employees
What We're Looking For
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- At least 2 years of building maintenance experience or equivalent
- Working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems
- Valid NYS Driver's License acceptable to the Agency's insurance carrier
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take pride in quality workmanship
