Pay range: $22.79-$29.18 per hour
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree in related field required
- Minimum of three years’ experience in criminal justice, social programs or legal-related procedures required
- Must be bondable
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Ability to support an ethical, non-discriminatory and safe work environment
- Knowledge of legal language and procedures related to municipal court operations and probation functions
- Knowledge of pertinent local, state, and federal laws, codes and regulations
- Working knowledge with criminal history reporting and Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System (MULES) and REJIS systems
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments and with members of the public as needed
- Considerable knowledge of the principles of business letter writing, English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation, principles and practices of filing and legal file systems, principles and procedures of record keeping
- Ability to maintain accurate records and enter data accurately
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Ability to interview defendants and make objective analysis and sound recommendations
