Community Health Northwest Florida, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our growing team. We are committed to providing comprehensive, accessible, and patient-centered healthcare to children and families across Northwest Florida, regardless of their ability to pay.

Position Summary
The Pediatrician will provide high-quality primary care to infants, children, and adolescents in a collaborative, team-based environment. This role includes preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and coordination of care with other providers and community resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver well-child exams, immunizations, and preventive screenings.

  • Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic pediatric conditions.

  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, growth and development, and disease prevention.

  • Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and dental providers to ensure integrated, holistic care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

  • Board Certified 

  • Current Florida medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).

  • Commitment to the mission of serving underserved and diverse populations.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
