Schedule: Night Shift | PRN

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Assess, plan, and implement care: Assess patient for appropriate treatment, develop a plan of care based on diagnosis, and implement and monitor the care plan and equipment.

• Monitor, communicate, and document: Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition while performing advanced respiratory care modalities.

• Evaluate and educate: Evaluate respiratory practice, medications, and treatments based on patient outcomes, and educate the patient and family about health conditions and community programs.

• Manage equipment and inventory: Assist with the care, calibration, maintenance, cleaning/sterilization, and inventory levels of all department equipment and supplies.

• Respond to emergencies: Respond to emergency resuscitation team calls.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Florida Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hiredate or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
