Overview

Position Overview
OSF HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our established Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiology team consisting of 4 APPs and 4 physicians. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with leading electrophysiologists in a high-volume, innovative cardiovascular program.
The APP will play a key role in delivering comprehensive care to patients with complex cardiac rhythm disorders in both outpatient clinic and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients with cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and bradyarrhythmias
  • Conduct pre- and post-procedure assessments for EP studies, ablations, and device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders)
  • Provide longitudinal outpatient management of EP patients in the cardiology clinic
  • Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Interpret diagnostic testing including ECGs, Holter monitors, and device interrogations
  • Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
  • Participate in inpatient rounding and consults as needed
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice

    • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
