Senior Strategic Reimbursement Analyst

Expected pay for this position is $41.65 - $49.00/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under limited supervison, the Senior Strategic Reimbursement Analyst is responsible for managing and providing reimbursement expertise for Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payor contracts for OSF Healthcare. This role will perform analysis on reimbursement impact of various initiatives and legislative impact analysis, among other areas. Position leads interanlly and externally by coordinating communication to insure alignment with finanical and strategic goals and initiatives. Possesses comprehensive knowledge in order to be able to lead and influence conversations and teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, accounting, finance or business.

Experience:

4 years experience in healthcare operations, reimbursement, and/or operational regulations

Licensure/ Certification: N/A

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare operations, reimbursement and operational regulations.
• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, trends, issues, risks, etc.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in finance, reimbursement, cost reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning in an integrated healthcare environment.
