Position Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Hardware Engineer who can work across the complete hardware-software stack — from circuit design and PCB layout to embedded firmware, bootloaders, and Linux-based BSP development. The ideal candidate combines strong analog/digital hardware design skills with hands-on embedded software expertise in U-Boot, Zephyr RTOS, firmware development, and Embedded Linux/Yocto.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Design & Development

  • Design and develop analog and digital circuits for embedded systems and custom hardware platforms

  • Perform component selection and schematic capture using Altium Designer or KiCAD

  • Conduct circuit simulation and validation using LTSpice or equivalent tools

  • Collaborate on PCB layout for signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, and thermal management

Embedded Software & Firmware

  • Develop and port firmware for microcontrollers and SoCs (ARM Cortex-M/A, RISC-V)

  • Work with U-Boot bootloader — porting, board bring-up, and customization for new hardware

  • Develop on Zephyr RTOS — driver development, board support, and application layer

  • Build and maintain Embedded Linux BSPs using Yocto Project (recipes, layers, kernel/device tree configuration)

  • Write low-level drivers and communication stacks (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet)

Bring-Up, Testing & Debugging

  • Lead board bring-up: power sequencing, clock/reset validation, peripheral enablement

  • Debug hardware and software issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD debuggers

  • Validate firmware and driver behavior against hardware specifications

Documentation & Collaboration

  • Maintain documentation for schematics, firmware architecture, build systems, and test reports

  • Work closely with software, mechanical, and systems teams for end-to-end product integration

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Altium Designer or KiCAD; LTSpice for simulation

  • Strong grasp of analog/digital circuit design, power supply design, mixed-signal interfaces

  • Hands-on experience with U-Boot, Zephyr RTOS, and firmware development in C/C++

  • Working knowledge of Embedded Linux and Yocto Project (BSP layers, recipes, kernel config)

  • Experience with communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN

  • Hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters

  • Comfortable working across the full stack — schematic to bootloader to Linux userspace

Nice to Have

  • High-speed PCB design experience

  • Device tree customization and Linux kernel driver development

  • Experience with RTOS-to-Linux dual-stack systems

  • Contributions to open-source embedded/hardware projects

  • Familiarity with CI/CD for embedded builds (GitLab CI, Yocto automated builds)

Benefits

Benefits

  • Work on cutting-edge embedded hardware + software platforms end-to-end

  • Collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment

  • Continuous learning across hardware and embedded software domains

  • Flexible work arrangements and competitive compensation
