Fabricator- Stone Resources

Duties

• Measure and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication of stone pieces according to project specifications
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other machinery for materials handling and transportation within the workspace
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, shape, polish, and finish stone surfaces with precision
• Follow safety protocols by consistently wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection
• Handle heavy materials safely through proper lifting techniques and equipment operation to prevent injury and material damage
• Perform dimensional measurements using tape measures and other tools to verify accuracy before assembly or finishing processes
• Maintain a clean workspace by organizing materials, tools, and waste disposal in accordance with safety standards in production environments

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or related fields involving heavy lifting and materials handling
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining devices for stone processing
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus
