We areseeking a Business Relationship Manager – AI Transformation to partner withclinical, operational, administrative, and technology leaders to identify,evaluate, and advance high-value AI opportunities within a healthcareorganization. This role will translate business needs into actionablerequirements and guide AI initiatives through evaluation, governance,implementation, adoption, and value realization. The focus is Revenue Cycle,where AI opportunities connect directly to denials, prior authorization,coding, billing, and cash collection.

 

PositionSummary

TheBusiness Relationship Manager – AI Transformation will serve as the strategicbridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams across the AIinitiative lifecycle. This individual will build trusted relationships withleaders across the organization, facilitate the evaluation and prioritizationof AI use cases, define requirements and success measures, coordinategovernance and risk activities, and support adoption and outcome measurementpost-implementation. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of healthcare IT,informatics, analytics, or transformation experience, a working knowledge of AIconcepts and applications, and the ability to influence and advance initiativeswithout direct authority. This is a business-facing role, not a technical one.The ideal candidate understands both IT workflows and operational Revenue Cycleworkflows, and connects the two so that technical delivery reflects how work isperformed in patient access, coding, billing, and collections.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with clinical, operational, administrative, and technology leaders to understand strategic priorities, analyze workflows, and uncover opportunities where AI may create measurable value.
  • Analyze Revenue Cycle workflows end to end, including patient access, prior authorization, charge capture, coding and clinical documentation integrity, claim creation, billing, denials management, cash collection, and patient billing, and identify where AI and automation can improve financial and operational outcomes.
  • Facilitate the evaluation and prioritization of AI opportunities based on expected business or clinical value, feasibility, risk, data availability, organizational readiness, and enterprise strategy alignment.
  • Translate business needs into clearly defined use cases, functional requirements, data requirements, success measures, governance considerations, and expected outcomes.
  • Serve as the liaison between stakeholders and technical delivery teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Partner with architecture, technical, operational, procurement, security, privacy, and legal stakeholders to evaluate available solutions and contribute to build vs. buy recommendations.
  • Coordinate required governance reviews and documentation related to responsible AI, regulatory compliance, privacy, security, data use, model risk, and operational readiness.
  • Support implementation, organizational readiness, adoption, performance monitoring, and outcome measurement post-deployment.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization, expansion, remediation, or retirement based on utilization, performance, risk, and realized value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Informatics, Information Systems, Public Health, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare operations, information technology, informatics, analytics, transformation, consulting, or a related environment, including Revenue Cycle experience.
  • Required Revenue Cycle skill set, with working knowledge of end-to-end Revenue Cycle operations such as patient access, prior authorization, coding, claim creation, billing, denials management, cash collection, and patient billing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of both IT workflows and operational workflows, with the ability to translate between Revenue Cycle operations leaders and technology teams.
  • This is not a technical role. Hands-on development, data engineering, interface, or system configuration experience is not required.
  • Experience translating complex business or clinical needs into actionable requirements and measurable outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of AI concepts, capabilities, limitations, and common business or healthcare applications.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional initiatives involving business, clinical, and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, relationship management, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and advance initiatives without direct authority.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Healthcare AI, analytics, automation, or digital transformation experience.
  • Exposure to an EHR platform, with Epic preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI, AI governance, privacy, security, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with demand management, portfolio prioritization, product management, or innovation governance.
  • Expertise in one or more healthcare clinical, operational, financial, or administrative domains.
  • Relevant certification in business relationship management, project management, product management, change management, informatics, analytics, or AI governance.
