The Site Engagement LeadĀ is responsible forĀ building and expanding a new clinical site ecosystem for GSK, with a primary focus on Respiratory and secondary focus on Hepatology. This role willĀ identify, engage, and develop relationships with sites that are new to GSK as well as sites that are new to clinical research.Ā 

The role integrates data-driven insights (including payer, prescription, epidemiology, and real-world data) with field-based engagement toĀ identifyĀ patient-rich geographies, generate research interest, andĀ establishĀ long-term partnerships. The Site Engagement Lead serves as a key interface between GSK and external sites, enabling a broader, more diverse, and future-ready network to support clinical trial delivery and portfolio execution.Ā

  • Identify, prioritize, and develop new clinical research sites, including those not currently engaged with GSK and research-naĆÆve sites with high patient potential.Ā 

  • Build and expand a fit-for-purpose site ecosystem across Respiratory and Hepatology, including academic institutions, community practices, health systems, and emerging care models.Ā 

  • Establish andĀ maintainĀ strong, trusted relationships with investigators, site leadership, and research staff to position GSK as a preferred research partner.Ā 

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Medical Affairs, Commercial, Data & Analytics, Feasibility) toĀ leverageĀ payer, prescription, epidemiology, and real-world data toĀ identifyĀ where patients areĀ locatedĀ and proactively generate research interest in targeted geographies and sites.Ā 

  • Translate data insights into actionable site engagement strategies,Ā identifyingĀ ā€œwhite spaceā€ opportunities and underserved regions for site expansion.Ā 

  • Develop and execute targeted outreach and onboarding strategies to support new sites entering the GSK research ecosystem.Ā 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure coordinated, ā€œone GSKā€ engagement with sites and to reduce duplication and improve site experience.Ā 

  • Support site segmentation and archetyping efforts to inform strategic investment and resource allocation.Ā 

  • Enable site readiness by guiding new-to-research or early-stage sites through clinical trial requirements, processes, and expectations.Ā 

  • ProvideĀ ongoing insightsĀ toĀ leadership regarding site landscape trends, partnership opportunities, and risks to delivery.Ā 

  • Contribute toĀ developmentĀ of scalable engagement models, playbooks, and partnership frameworks to support long-term growth of the site network.Ā 

  • PromoteĀ adoptionĀ of innovative approaches and digital solutions to enhance site experience and operational efficiency.Ā

Basic QualificationsĀ 

We are looking for professionals withĀ theseĀ required skills to achieve our goals:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree inĀ life scienceĀ or equivalent experienceĀ Ā 

  • 5+Ā years’ experienceĀ in clinical research, site engagement, site management, feasibility, or clinical operationsĀ 

  • Experience withĀ clinicalĀ trial lifecycle, including site start-up and executionĀ

  • Ability to travel up toĀ 50% (Domestic)Ā 

  • Experience in respiratory and/or hepatology.Ā

  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage external relationships with clinical sites or healthcare providersĀ

The US annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $129,750 to $216,250. The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
