LPN Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Full Time LPN Supervisor to join our enthusiastic team at Paul’s Run.

Shift / Schedule available:

• Full Time
• 11:00am - 7:00pm

Key job responsibilities include:

• Assist the PC Nurse Manager as house supervisor on all shifts in planning, organizing, developing, and directing day to day functions of the Personal Care Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern Paul’s Run.
• Provide daily supervision and leadership to staff and other designated personnel in accordance with established nursing standards and policies and procedures to ensure we meet the residents’ needs.
• Demonstrate good decision making skills.
• Ensure that physician orders are adhered to in a timely manner and in accordance with established standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and promote correction of problems in care delivery.
• Complete performance evaluations timely and provide overall direction to ensure that staff are competent and able to perform their work in a professional manner.
• Assist the PC Manager with hiring, orienting, scheduling, assignments, evaluating, and when necessary, counseling and disciplining staff members.
• Assure all DHS forms are completed timely and are in compliance with regulations including orientation, CPR, First Aid, and current licenses and in-services.

Education and Experience: 

• Graduate of an LPN accredited school of nursing licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing, a BSN degree (optional).
• PA Personal Care Home Administrator training (optional).
• Minimum of five years’ experience in geriatric nursing and supervisor experience preferred.
