Floor Cleaning Technician

What You’ll Bring

Floor-cleaning experience in a school or commercial setting preferred
Ability to safely operate scrubbers, polishers, vacuums, and related equipment
Basic knowledge of floor cleaning chemicals and safe work practices
Dependability, attention to detail, and the physical ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout a shift

Preferred Experience

Three or more years of relevant experience in floor care
Floor-care certification or OSHA/safety training
Experience caring for concrete, tile, hardwood, and vinyl flooring

What You’ll Do

Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, polish, and maintain a variety of floor surfaces
Select and apply the right cleaning products and treatments for each floor
Operate and care for floor-cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect and address spills, stains, and hazards promptly
Coordinate with supervisors to complete work with minimal disruption
