Assistant Facilities Technician (P/T)

Description

As an Assistant Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

· Manage the repair and maintenance of all equipment and facilities

· Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

· Painting, prepping and maintaining both internal and exterior surfaces

· Troubleshoot issues related to logic controllers, HVAC systems, low voltage, construction and other facility systems

· Review and interpret schematics for equipment repairs

· Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Brightly) for tracking work orders and inventory

· Perform preventative maintenance and repair in various areas and cleaning of designated areas, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards, including keeping storage and fire exits clutter free

· Respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime and keep facilities operational

· Specific projects as and when asked by the management.

Requirements

- Proficiency in English for effective communication

- Knowledge of Basic hand tools & power tools

- Ability to troubleshoot logic controllers, HVAC systems, low voltage is a plus.

- Familiarity with reading and interpreting equipment schematics
