Overview:

Talk Radio 1210-AM WPHT in Philadelphia has openings for part-time Board Operators.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Job responsibilities:

Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDsaccording to program and commercial logs.
Operating the board during local and syndicated talk radio programs and sports events.
Screening calls during local call-in shows.
Researching broadcast topics, providing creative input on broadcast elements andcollaborating with hosts on show content.
Scheduling guests and live interviews.
Recording news, weather, and traffic feeds for broadcast.
Editing relevant video and audio sound bites for on-air use.
Contributing to social networking and website updates.
Producing and running live station remotes.
Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

Candidates should have a good working knowledge of current events.Applicants must be available nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Prior experience is a plus.
Experience using Adobe Suite editing applications like Audition and Premiere Pro.
Dependability and punctuality are a must.
Employees of Audacy are required to be a minimum of 21 years of age to operate any vehicle, including Company-owned, leased, rented, or personal vehicles, when such operation is conducted on behalf of Audacy. Driving is an essential function of this role.
A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
