Position Summary

We’re looking for an entry‑level Fab Shop Helper to support our skilled craft team in daily fabrication operations. This position is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and offers opportunities to learn new skills while contributing to the production of high‑quality fire protection materials.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist skilled craft workers with setup, preparation, and daily tasks
  • Follow instructions from experienced team members and supervisors to support shop operations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Read and understand equipment instructions, safety rules, and warning signage
  • Learn to observe equipment and systems to identify potential hazards
  • Always prioritize safety in every task

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

  • Ability to safely and efficiently use hand tools, power tools, and layout tools
