Saratoga Medical (DBA Saratoga Ascend) has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) with Maricopa County Correctional Health Services.

WOC RN | Phoenix, AZ

Schedule:

  • Night Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
  • Minimum 13-week commitment
  • Jail/Clinic: Intake, Transfer, Release (ITR)
  • No floating to other jails

Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or participating Compact State license
  • Current completed PSV through Nursys
  • Current N95 fit testing
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience
  • Current First Aid Certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions
  • Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes
  • Perform nursing procedures based on patient needs
  • Complete required medical documentation accurately
  • Provide patient health education
  • Administer medications and perform IV/phlebotomy skills as required
  • Assist with orientation and training of staff as needed
