 About the Role

As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide direct care services and additional supports individuals with developmental disabilities by providing exceptional care and supervision both at home and in the community. You will be helping our clients to develop life skills and achieve personal goals.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision and care like : personal care like bathing, cleaning, feeding, medication administration, transportation, etc.
  • Assist with daily living activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation (e.g., progress notes, service logs)
  • Support behavior management strategies
  • Administer medications as needed
  • Transport members to appointments and activities
  • Prepare meals and assist with nutrition
  • Implement individual goals, Behavior Treatment Plans (BTP), and Individual Support Plans (ISP)
  • Uphold member rights and confidentiality in accordance with Article 9
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Communicate effectively—both verbally and in writing
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure quality care, etc

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Valid Arizona fingerprint clearance card
  • Certifications in Article 9, Prevention & Support, CPR/First Aid
  • Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean 36-month motor vehicle record
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. (Form I-9 compliance)
