Job DetailsJob Location: PHOENIX, AZ 85021Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: EngineeringPosition Summary The Engineering Technician supports Titan Circuits’ PCB assembly and electromechanical manufacturing operations by assisting Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, and Production with build readiness, documentation, troubleshooting, rework support, and process execution. This is a hands-on, floor-focused role for someone with strong technical aptitude, soldering/electronics assembly experience, and the ability to support high-mix production in an AS9100-driven environment.   Key Responsibilities Support team members with manufacturing and process engineering activities including BOM review, work instruction updates, routing support, traveler review, NPI build readiness, tooling needs, and production documentation accuracy. Assist with SMT, hand solder, mechanical assembly, rework, repair, inspection support, and build troubleshooting in accordance with drawings, BOMs, work instructions, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, ESD, and customer requirements, as needed. Help identify and resolve production issues related to materials, documentation, solder workmanship, setup errors, tooling, process flow, equipment, and execution gaps. Support process readiness for new and released jobs, including line setup, kitting readiness, inspection steps, fixture/tooling needs, and communication of build risks to Engineering and Production leadership. Maintain accurate production and engineering records in CETEC or related systems, including labor transactions, work-order notes, travelers, quality collection steps, and documentation updates. Partner with Quality, Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Planning to support MRB/NCR activity, defect reduction, cycle-time improvement, rework reduction, and continuous improvement projects. QualificationsQualifications 2+ years of experience in PCB assembly, electronics manufacturing, soldering, mechanical assembly, engineering support, or related technical manufacturing environment preferred. Working knowledge of electronic components, BOMs, drawings, work instructions, hand soldering, rework, ESD practices, and basic inspection standards. IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 experience or certification required. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, schematics, travelers, and bills of material. ERP/MRP or manufacturing system experience preferred; CETEC experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail, communication, follow-through, and ability to work directly on the production floor in a fast-paced environment. Physical / Compliance Requirements Must pass background check, E-Verify, and meet ITAR requirements. Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the manufacturing floor for extended periods. Must occasionally lift and/or move items up to 35 pounds. Must follow ESD, safety, cleanliness, documentation, and quality-system requirements.
