Position Highlights
  • Full-time employed position with Abrazo Medical Group
  • Practice locations: Abrazo West Campus Hospital and West ASMC Clinic
  • 2–3 OR days and 2–3 clinic days per week
  • Dedicated OR access at both a hospital and ambulatory surgery center
  • Average clinic volume: 20–25 patients per clinic day
  • Full clinical scope — surgical and non-surgical care for the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow, including both elective and trauma cases
  • Advanced microsurgical capabilities including microvascular reconstruction, free tissue transfer, and complex limb salvage
  • Onsite U-Arm X-ray and high-resolution exam room monitors
  • Call rotation: approximately 1 week per month, shared among group partners
  • Collaborative practice with certified hand therapists and multidisciplinary teams

Candidate Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
  • Completion of a Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery fellowship
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS)
  • Subspecialty certification or eligibility in Surgery of the Hand
  • Experience with microsurgical techniques for vessel and nerve repair
  • Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
