Job Summary:Ā 

TheĀ Territory Sales Representative - Surgery Centers (ASC)Ā isĀ responsible forĀ securing andĀ maintainingĀ distributionĀ channelĀ as wellĀ as growing Cardinal Health Brand and Preferred National Brand productsĀ within free-standingĀ AmbulatoryĀ Surgery Centers.Ā Ā The complexity of the solutions, products,Ā andĀ services offered isĀ variedĀ and can range from simple to moderately complex selling and longer sales cycle.Ā Ā The role reports into the Region Director,Ā ASCĀ and it is important that they canĀ build andĀ maintainĀ relationshipsĀ with key decision makersĀ andĀ potentialĀ influencers.Ā Ā Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts.Ā 

Territory:Ā Arizona

Responsibilities:Ā Ā 

  • Develop and manage successful key relationships withinĀ ASCĀ customersĀ to achieve salesĀ goalsĀ in assigned territory.Ā 

  • Responsible for cold calling,Ā prospectingĀ and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenueĀ growthĀ and customer satisfaction withinĀ ASC.Ā 

  • Collaborates both internally and externally within various business units such as key contacts within national accounts, GPO Reps, and other vendors toĀ archiveĀ results.Ā 

  • Conducts data analytics and analyzes the market penetration on products both in new and existing clients. Responsible forĀ identifyingĀ areas for development.Ā Ā 

  • Coordinates pre-call planning with sales support staff and delegates data collection toĀ potential other team members.Ā Ā 

  • DeterminesĀ prices offered to the client based on client Group Purchasing Agreements, finding suitable andĀ more affordableĀ alternatives if necessaryĀ and alsoĀ determinesĀ rebate eligibility.Ā Ā 

  • Complete all administrative tasks & training including expense reports,Ā pipeline,Ā maintainĀ accurateĀ SFDC records, market feedback, etc.Ā Ā 

  • In-service accounts byĀ demonstratingĀ product applications,Ā functionalityĀ and use - on rare occasions may include the start of a night and weekend shiftsĀ Ā 

  • Attend andĀ participateĀ in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed. Attend all regional, divisional and sector events including National Sales Meetings and Region MeetingsĀ Ā 

  • Maintain required sales activity level - examples include the number of expected visits & calls, number of products presented/account, etc.Ā Ā 

  • AssistsĀ distribution order support and coordination as needed.Ā AssistĀ customers with back-orders and other related service issuesĀ Ā 

  • Maintain knowledge of the current industry/competitive landscape including, GPO's, healthcare economics, reimbursement, competitors, competitive products, etc.Ā Ā 

  • Travel within assigned territory to call on accounts including overnight travel. Maintain active, in-person presence at top accountsĀ

Qualifications:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience preferredĀ 

  • Experience in sales, account/relationship management, or customer success preferredĀ 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including active listening, experience in developing and delivering presentations to both small and large groupsĀ 

  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiativeĀ 

  • A critical thinker with a problem-solving attitude, consistently seeking opportunities to improve processes and resolve issues efficientlyĀ 

  • Possesses a resilient and confident attitude, with the ability to overcome obstacles andĀ maintainĀ a positive outlookĀ 

  • TechnologyĀ proficiencyĀ with CRM software such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office SuiteĀ 

  • A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States with a clean driving recordĀ 

  • Ability to travel up to 50% within territory including overnight staysĀ 

  • Customer/Vendor credentialing may beĀ requiredĀ (this may include vaccinations). More details will be provided if you are selected for an interviewĀ
