Course: Digital Audio Workstation

This course introduces DAW software and challenges students to begin the process of recording multi-track sessions. Students practice tracking, editing, mixing, and producing recordings according to assigned projects. Students practice creating and implementing backing tracks for a worship service.

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
  • Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
  • Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum: BA in a related area AND
    • 3 years of experience working with Digital Audio Workstations OR
      • professional certification and 6 years of documented professional experience in Digital Audio Workstations.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in a related area AND
    • 3 years of professional experience working with Digital Audio Workstations.
