Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Delivers customer service support to patients
  • Schedules appointments
  • Handles patient check-in and check-out procedures
  • Performs scanning and filing tasks
  • Collects payments from patients
  • Maintains a clean and professional workspace, including the waiting area
  • Responds to patient phone calls
  • Confirms scheduled appointments
  • Provides assistance with charting
  • Confirms patient insurance information
  • Maintains strict confidentiality
  • Ensures an outstanding customer experience
  • Performs any duties necessary to maintain patient flow, along with any additional tasks as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional, warm, and approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing training, continuing education, and adherence to company policies and safety guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, squat, bend, and twist frequently.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or patient relations strongly preferred.
