Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel);
- Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results;
- Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis;
- Preparation of field data and technical reports; and
- Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections with extensive travel to Columbus, OH.
Qualifications:
- Nuclear Density Gauge Operator certification;
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1; and
- Prior experience with geotechnical and/or environmental field investigation highly preferred.
Preferred Certifications:
- 5+ years experience in field construction inspection and testing;
- ICC Soils;
- ICC Reinforced Concrete;
- ICC Concrete Placement; and
- ICC Structural Steel and Bolting.
Higher compensation than the amount listed below may be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.
