GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job provides direct care to patients and assists with non-direct patient care unit coordination under the guidance of the Audiologist.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrates competency in clinical skills (40%)

• Communicates pertinent patient data accurately and utilizes time management skills to organize and prioritize patient care activities (30%)

• Assumes responsibility for own professional development. (30%)

• Performs other duties as assigned or required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree

• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a doctoral program for audiology

Preferred

• None

SKILLS:

• Diagnostic Audiology testing 

• Hearing aid Diagnostic 

• Pediatric and adult hearing assessments

• Tinnitus evaluations and management

• Hearing aid fitting verification 

Additional Employment Requirements:

• Act 34 - Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate

• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
