About the Role:

Lost & Found Restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to be the first face our guests see! If you love creating warm & welcoming experiences for guests in a friendly hospitality atmosphere, we would love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a positive, friendly attitude
Manage reservations and waitlists using host stand software or seating charts
Escort guests to tables and ensure proper table turnover and floor management
Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations during peak hours
Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow
Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
Coordinate guest "research" and ensure communication of guest knowledge is relayed to both kitchen and dining room staff

Requirements:

Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house restaurant experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume dining environment
Warm, professional demeanor with a guest-first attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the restaurant
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
