Lynd Management Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the operations, financial performance, and regulatory compliance of an affordable multifamily property.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of affordable housing programs, resident-file requirements, inspections, and property operations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, train, motivate, and develop the on-site team.
  • Oversee leasing, occupancy, collections, resident retention, and property operations.
  • Monitor budgets, revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance.
  • Prepare accurate operational, financial, compliance, and owner reports.
  • Ensure resident files, certifications, and recertifications are accurate and timely.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable income restrictions, set-asides, and program requirements.
  • Prepare for file audits, Management and Occupancy Reviews, NSPIRE inspections, and other regulatory reviews.
  • Coordinate timely correction of audit findings and physical deficiencies.
  • Maintain required waiting lists, compliance records, and affordable housing documentation.
  • Partner with maintenance to ensure apartments and property areas meet required standards.
  • Resolve resident concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, monitoring agencies, leadership, and corporate departments.

What We're Looking For

  • At least three years of affordable housing property management experience.
  • Previous experience supervising and developing employees.
  • Knowledge of HUD, Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC, HOME, Bond, or similar programs.
  • Current knowledge of HUD Handbook 4350.3 and applicable occupancy requirements.
  • Experience with certifications, recertifications, file audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Knowledge of EIV, TRACS, iMAX, or other applicable HUD systems.
  • Experience preparing for Management and Occupancy Reviews and physical inspections.
  • Strong financial, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • RealPage OneSite experience preferred.
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist certification required for HUD-governed properties.
  • Certified Apartment Manager or another affordable housing credential preferred.
