What You’ll Do
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures independently using prescribed ionizing radiation.
- Verify patient identity, review orders, and document histories accurately in the electronic record.
- Administer oral or rectal contrast and follow established safety and procedural protocols.
- Ensure exams are properly coded, tracked, and archived for interpretation and billing.
- Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures, ease concerns, and ensure comfort.
- Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and staff to deliver efficient, compassionate care.
- Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.
- Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire date.
CPR or BLS Required.
