What You’ll Do

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures independently using prescribed ionizing radiation.
• Verify patient identity, review orders, and document histories accurately in the electronic record.
• Administer oral or rectal contrast and follow established safety and procedural protocols.
• Ensure exams are properly coded, tracked, and archived for interpretation and billing.
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures, ease concerns, and ensure comfort.
• Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and staff to deliver efficient, compassionate care.

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.
  • Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire date.

• CPR or BLS Required.
