Job Summary
The Accounting Intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate finance environment. This internship offers exposure to month-end close activities, fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure processes, lease accounting, financial reporting, and business process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with account reconciliations and research variances
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support fixed asset and capital expenditure accounting processes
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support lease administration and documentation maintenance
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Compile supporting documentation for audits and financial reporting
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with financial reporting and SEC filing support
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prepare analyses and reports using Excel and ERP systems
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborate with accounting professionals across various functions to support business objectives
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor鈥檚 degree with a major or concentration in Accounting
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
