Texas Rehabilitation of Plano is a brand-new 40 bed inpatient rehabilitation facility opening in 2026. We offer high-quality, compassionate care for a wide variety of patients in need. Our teams provide evidence-based, transformational care for a broad range of rehabilitation concerns in a compassionate, comfortable environment.

 

How you'll contribute 

 

A Dietician who excels in this role:

  • Completes annual competency testing and maintains professional growth and development portfolio to maintain registration and licensure/certification

  • Performs job based on applicable federal, state, and local regulations, company policies and procedures, and evidenced based clinical guidelines

  • Performs job within defined Scope of Practice

  •  Participates in the planning of the department budget

  • Participates in planning and creating the hospital’s strategic plan to achieve the mission and vision of the hospital

  • Participates in implementing policies and procedures related to nutrition care of the patient

  • Participates in the hospital’s performance improvement program by conducting, aggregating, trending, and acting on data for key clinical nutrition indicators

  • Provides oversight of the menu management process

  • Reviews and approves all patient menus in the facility; must approve any substitutions provided to patients

  • Provides oversight for the transcription of diet orders in the department to ensure accuracy.

What we're looking for

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in dietetics or nutrition related field.  Registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration 
  • Experience: Previous experience in acute care setting, preferred. 
  • Additional Requirements: State licensure/certification, if required by state.
