Job DetailsJob Location: Plano, TX 75025Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Graduate DegreeSalary Range: $35.58 HourlyThis position will complete RTC applications, Waco Center applications, YES Clinical Eligibilities and diagnosis. All services are delivered from a person-centered, culturally, and linguistically appropriate, trauma-informed perspective. This position may also include providing psychotherapy using state approved evidence-based models (CBT, TF-CBT, CPT, Play Therapy, PCIT, and Family Therapy), and Texas Resilient and Recovery (TRR) and Recovery Plans. Other duties as assigned.   Requires use of initiative and independent judgment to provide interventions in the community, home, and school to best meet the needs. Must be effective at troubleshooting using clinical judgement and organizing support, interventions, and services to achieve outcomes. Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed and have effective communication with supervisory staff when necessary. Ensures services provided meet the guidelines in accordance with HHSC, TAC, UM Guidelines, etc. Expectations include timely and thorough documentation, time management and organizational skills, and availability to assist with crisis and other coverage areas as needed.   General Targets: Completing all RTC applications, Waco Center applications and YES Clinical Eligibility requirements within the guidelines and timeframes. All progress notes are signed within 2 business days of service. All required trainings are completed prior to due date.   If Bilingual and receiving stipend, employee will be available to translate for other staff as needed and will utilize approved language in the provision of services as needed. QualificationsEducation, Training, & Experience (including licensure & certification) Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field required. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) required CCBHC knowledge and experience preferred. CBT, CPT, TF-CBT, Play Therapy, and/or PCIT certification preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care Practices required. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities    Knowledge of the current version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Experience providing psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, service coordination, skills training, counseling, and crisis intervention services to individuals with serious mental illness or serious emotional disturbance. Knowledge of the social services system and the ability to connect individuals with appropriate services.  Knowledge of counseling techniques and processes – especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Knowledge of RTC and Waco process preferred. Ability to write clearly and professionally on all services and internal communications. Ability to think clearly and logically while dealing with potentially dangerous and/or emotional situations. Ability to respond to individuals with patience, empathy and understanding. Organized, detail-oriented, and computer-proficient. Ability to demonstrate strong multi-cultural competency. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
