We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Process Improvement Engineer to evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement sustainable improvements. This role works cross-functionally with operations, quality, production, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, reduce waste, improve productivity, and support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current workflows, systems, and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and root cause analysis
  • Collect and interpret data to measure process performance, identify trends, and support decision-making
  • Develop and implement process changes that improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness
  • Create standard operating procedures, process maps, and documentation for optimized workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of improvement initiatives
  • Monitor key performance indicators and track the effectiveness of process changes
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions and support corrective and preventive actions
  • Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and workflow assessments
  • Train employees on new processes, tools, and continuous improvement practices
  • Support audits, compliance requirements, and quality management systems as needed
  • Recommend automation or technology solutions where appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in process improvement, operations engineering, manufacturing, or continuous improvement roles
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and process mapping tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Minitab, Power BI, or similar software
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Experience with ERP, MES, or quality management systems
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, KPI development, and change management
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, healthcare, or other process-driven environments
