While we are an online K-12 school, this position works on-site at our central office in Plano, TX. You will serve as a vital bridge between our virtual classrooms and our physical community, providing exceptional, patient customer service, academic tutoring, and technical support to students and families who visit the office. Essential Responsibilities: Student & Academic Support Assist students in accomplishing daily educational objectives. Provide guided tutoring and academic support to students who come into the Plano office. Serve as the first line of support for families and students experiencing technical issues with their online learning platforms. Attend parent/teacher conferences as needed to support teachers in communicating student performance, progress, and engagement, and to provide translation services (if applicable). Administrative & Family Services Serve as a welcoming, helpful point of contact for families navigating the online school environment. May occasionally provide non-teaching support by assembling materials, making copies, and similar tasks. Complete and submit accurate time and effort reporting in accordance with school policies and deadlines Assist with general school administrative processes, including guiding new families through enrollment and helping them navigate and apply for Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) funds. Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential student records in compliance with all academy and regulatory requirements Community Building & Extracurriculars Serve as an active champion for school culture by supporting in-person and virtual events, clubs, enrichment activities, and community-building initiatives. Actively participate in grade-level teams, school-wide planning, and school improvement initiatives. Help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment in the central office for all visiting students, families, and staff. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. AND Strong customer service skills and a solutions-oriented approach to helping K-12 students and their families. Highly collaborative and eager to work alongside teachers, staff, and families to support the success of the online school community. Ability to pivot smoothly between academic tutoring, administrative tasks, and community event support.
