Job Details: Job Location: Dallas Headquarters - Plano, TX, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Summary:The Senior Designer will also work closely with the sales team and clients on commercial interior design, space planning, and programming, selecting commercial office products, and curating world-class spaces for our clients. This position reports to the Manager, Design.Responsibilities and Duties: Design Development Work with salesperson and/or client to determine purpose and function of environment, budget, scope of project, time schedules, types of furniture and equipment to be installed, and other factors which affect planning interior environments. Advise salesperson and/or client on interior design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, color schemes, color coordination, and codes according to local governing jurisdictions. Provide schematic design and design development drawings. Coordinate design intent with architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans. Procurement Build final validation packets for sign-off from client. Create installation drawings and core plans for installation and project management. On-going Maintain project files and time sheets on all work performed according to departmental guidelines. Attend all design/sales meetings and educational seminars as requested. Attend client meetings, both on-site and off-site as requested. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Required Education Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on interior design Required skills High level of product knowledge regarding commercial office furniture High level of independence – able to work with minimal supervision Thrive in a fast-paced work environment Have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and be self-motivated Working knowledge of accessibility codes Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Detail-oriented Exceptional customer service skills Preferred skills NCIDQ certification or similar certification (WELL, LEED) Working knowledge of AUTOCAD, CET, Project Matrix Strong acumen with Microsoft office products Adobe Acrobat
