Operations Clerk

Position Summary

Operations Clerks at RAS LaVrar perform administrative tasks which support the day-to-day operation of the firm. The processes executed by individuals in this role range from general tasks such as data entry to specialized tasks such as skip tracing. Operations Clerks are not expected to draft pleadings.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The following responsibilities are central to the role:

Routine inventory maintenance

o   Facilitate data transfers to and from the firm’s clients via various channels including FTPs, third-party vendors, etc.

o   Load new accounts into the firm’s case management system (CMS).

o   Pull basic reports from the firm’s CMS and distribute them to stakeholders.

o   Data entry.

Specialized efforts

o   Skip tracing.

o   Coordinate and manage the firm’s relationships with third-party vendors.

o   File pleadings with courts.

Educational/Experience Qualification:

o   Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.

o   Experience in a legal office may compensate for education.

o   Individuals who excel in this role typically have industry experience in the fields of collections and/or personal injury law.

Working Conditions:

o   Onsite Position - Plantation, Florida

o   Operates no tools, machines or equipment

o   No significant lifting

• • 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 

• • 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

• • 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
