Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an Installation Manager to support Division solutions teams in executing projects and resolving complex issues. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has experience leading a team in the construction industry and is ready to support as a resource for ensuring accurate engineering and project completion while being part of a vibrant national organization.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
Â
- Ensure all associates embrace the safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives. Â
- Supervise, train, and develop all technicians or other associates within leadership span of control. Â
- Ensure the scheduling, execution, billing and completion of install, service, warranty, and emergency jobs. Â
- Ensure estimating and engineering standards are utilized and installed accordingly.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time and on budget.
- Provide technical support related to installation methods for all field employees.
- Develop and drive recovery plans for projects with existing or future cost overruns.
- Provide input for strategic solutions surrounding obsolete equipment, antiquated systems, and complex system upgrades.
- Follow up on customer satisfaction issues and drive resolution.
- Assist the Operations Manager in driving utilization and field productivity amongst all field employees
- Build a high-performance culture to include engagement reviews, development initiatives, and other performance management.
- Support Project Managers related to project risks, conflict resolution and establishment of project recovery plans.
- Develop and build contractor, customer, consultant, and subcontractor relationships.
- Promote the securing of change orders by ensuring work outside scope is identified and captured.
- Ensure compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements and ensure that installation business is conducted with the highest ethical standards.
WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU

- Minimum two years project or operations leadership experience in the Fire and Life Safety or construction business.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of individuals, including company leadership, field techs, customers, and vendors.
- Strong, positive team builder with leadership ability.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and with a sense of urgency.
- Customer-focused; skilled in project and people management.
- Meet guidelines for background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.

$130,000-$140,000 annual DOE
