Job Details: Job Location: Park Avenue Site - Oil City, PA, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School/GED, Salary Range: $18.00, Job Shift: Evening, Job Category: Nonprofit - Social Services, Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization providing programs and services to individuals with disabilities and other special needs. We are celebrating over 100 years of service and are proud of our history! Our Residential Program is looking to hire two energetic full-time Direct Service Professionals to join our team. One position is located in Franklin, PA and the other is located in Oil City, PA. The shift is from 2:00 pm to 10 pm, 8-hour days with an hourly rate of $18.00 per hour. This position comes with a benefit package with health care valued at 6k. QUALIFICATIONS- DIRECT SERVICE PROFESSIONALS: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.  Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Great patience and a true desire to connect with others are keys to success in our program.  Upon hiring, successful completion of the Medication Administration Test is required.  Current valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and acceptable driving record obtained through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation required.  Acceptable Criminal Record Check required.  Passing physical examination and TB required. JOB SUMMARY- DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL:We operate four community residential homes (Franklin, Oil City, Seneca, and Shippenville, PA) which are staffed 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Our staff provides direct care and a safe, secure, and supportive living environment in which individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities will learn to live and function as independently as possible within the community.
