We are seeking to employ Childcare Teacher(s) in our Plymouth Branch.
聽
Full time positions are hourly 40 hours weekly M-F; shifts range between 6:45 am and 5:30 pm.

JOB SUMMARY:聽
The Teacher will plan and implement a program of activities which will ensure each child鈥檚 personal safety while providing enrichment, physical challenges and learning experiences. The Teacher will uphold the employee code of conduct and will ensure that all areas of the job responsibilities reflect the mission of the Old Colony Y, and the regulating agency.聽

PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITY:
- Understand and ensure EEC regulations and NAEYC standards as well as Old Colony Y policies (Child and Youth Care policy, Child Guidance Policy, Health Care Policy) are maintained at all times.
- Plan, develop, and implement the program curriculum in accordance with EEC regulations, NAEYC standards and Old Colony YMCA鈥橲 policies.
- Gear the lesson plans to the needs of individual children with concern for their interests, abilities and needs, special talents, cultural diversity, and individual style and pace of learning.
- Leadership of daily activities as well as classroom arrangement, appearance and overall learning environment.

Minimum of 18 years of age and also have an EEC Certification.聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Negative Mantoux TB test and immunity for measles, mumps, and rubella.

- Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to approx 40lbs frequently (children) and聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 move intermittently during work hours
