Wellness Technician

Rivers Health is seeking a full-time Wellness Technician.

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist members in reaching physical fitness goals.  Maintains clerical

duties for Wellness Center membership.  Insures a clean and safe workout

1. Greet and provide direction to patients and visitors.

1. Instruct members in proper use of equipment and help develop

     exercise programs specific to member goals.

1. Circulates throughout department ensuring safe operation of

     equipment.

1. Attends inservices in safety, infection control, basic CPR, etc. at

     least yearly.

1. Maintains supplies and equipment as needed.

1. Performs clerical front-desk duties to include but not limited to:

     registering outpatients, monitor phone system, cashiering activities

     (drawer balancing, writing receipts, etc.), sorting mail, and

     maintaining accurate membership records.

1. Demonstrates excellence in customer service skills.

1. Fosters an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration.

1. Participates in quality improvement activities including serving on

     quality improvement teams.

1. Performs other duties that may be assigned.

1. Complies with Corporate Policies, Departmental Policies and

     Procedures and Personnel Employee Handbook.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Experience in physical fitness preferred.  Public relation and computer

experience required.
