A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Lodge Chef to join a luxury lodge in KwaZulu-Natal.
POSITION: French-Speaking Lodge Chef
LOCATION: KwaZulu-Natal
ENVIRONMENT:Â Live-in, Luxury Safari Lodge
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and oversee high-quality meals for lodge guests
• Maintain exceptional culinary and presentation standards
• Assist with menu planning and daily kitchen operations
• Manage kitchen stock, ordering and food costs
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards
• Lead, train and motivate kitchen staff
• Cater to guest dietary requirements and preferences
Must have rights to work in South Africa.

Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
Professional chef experience in a luxury lodge or 5-star hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation and kitchen operations
Excellent menu planning and food cost control skills
Ability to work independently and lead a kitchen team
Passion for delivering exceptional guest dining experiences
Fluent French-speaking ability
Strong communication and organisational skills
