Job DetailsJob Location: Sawgrass - Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082At Vicar’s Landing, our Inventory Controller plays a key role in keeping our community running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll help ensure our Maintenance team has the right tools, materials, and supplies—right when they need them. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and making a real impact on day-to-day operations. From managing inventory to finding cost-saving opportunities, your work helps support the entire campus and the exceptional service we provide to our residents.   What You’ll Do Oversee daily inventory operations for maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and materials Track and maintain accurate inventory records using systems, spreadsheets, and purchasing platforms Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming deliveries and verify against purchase orders Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder to prevent shortages while managing costs Partner with maintenance leadership on planning, forecasting, and preventive maintenance needs Maintain organized stockrooms and implement efficient storage and tracking processes Conduct routine counts, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits to ensure accuracy Track equipment usage and maintain accountability for tools and assets Identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate products and vendor performance Prepare purchase requests and support procurement of supplies and materials Generate reports on inventory usage, spending trends, and department needs Support emergency preparedness and inventory readiness initiatives Assist with work order tracking and updates within TheWorxHub system Skills You NeedMust Have Skills Strong organization and inventory management skills Attention to detail and accuracy in tracking and recordkeeping Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and inventory systems Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability Nice to Have Skills Experience with maintenance supplies, construction materials, or facilities operations Experience with inventory software, CMMS, or purchasing platforms Background in maintenance, healthcare, senior living, or hospitality environments Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field   How You’ll Grow Here In your first 12–24 months, you’ll have opportunities to: Take ownership of inventory operations and process improvements Build vendor relationships and influence purchasing strategies Strengthen your skills in data tracking, reporting, and cost management Collaborate with leadership to drive efficiency and operational success   Compensation & Benefits Base Pay: $XX,XXX – $XX,XXX (based on experience) Additional Perks at Vicar’s Landing: Holiday bonus opportunities Scholarship and career advancement programs Free daily meals ️ Benefits Snapshot: Health, dental, and vision coverage Retirement savings plan Generous paid time off A collaborative, team-first culture where your ideas matter   Why Vicar’s Landing?
