Knowledge of nursing policies and laws as they relate to the medical field in a K-12 school setting is essential. Additionally, the ability to identify and triage immediate needs, providing appropriate interventions, is vital for ensuring the health and safety of our students. Your skills will directly contribute to a supportive and responsive school health program.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse.
Maintain Current South Carolina Registered Nursing License.
Preferred related nursing experience in a school environment.
Current CPR Certification.
CPR and First Aid Trainer a plus.
Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to take initiative and be resourceful.
Make sound nursing judgement.
Knowledge of nursing policy and laws as it relates to the medical field in a K-12 school preferred.
Ability to identify and "triage" immediate needs and provide required interventions.

This position is for the 2026 - 2027 school year, and is on a as needed basis to cover open shifts during school in session days or provide support to nurse clinics as needed.
