The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Wholesale Assistant to join our team at our Port Washington headquarters. This is an exciting entry-level role—ideal for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of the home furnishings industry while supporting core wholesale sales operations that directly impact our business.
What You’ll Be Doing-
- Assist in managing wholesale accounts, including off-price and off-brand retailers.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to support on-time shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate availability updates to the sales team.
- Prepare weekly sales, inventory, and order status reports using Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and basic formulas).
- Support markdowns, chargebacks, and compliance requirements specific to off-price retailers.
- Maintain up-to-date records of order confirmations, routing guides, and shipping instructions.
- Identify and help resolve discrepancies related to shipments, invoicing, or inventory.
- Generate and process customer invoices on a weekly basis for management to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, filtering, pivot basics, and simple formulas)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook

Compensation
- $25.00/hour + commission
- Benefits – 401k (with 2% match), medical, vision, dental, paid holidays, vacation, and sick time
- Company shuttle service available from the Port Washington LIRR station
