Affinity Home Care proudly provides quality, personalized in-home care services to clients in Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro and other surrounding cities. The successful candidate will provide assistance in and from the client's own home, such as with light housekeeping, running errands, taking clients to appointments, preparing meals, dressing, and providing medication reminders. All shifts availablePay: $21.00 - $21.50 per hourShift: On-call and Part-timeMain Responsibilities Provides general attention to residents' needs. Documents all Activities of Daily Living for each resident. Provides companionship and observes to ensure safety and to report condition changes. Completes light housekeeping tasks. Maintains confidentiality regarding residents and the care. Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance. Displays excellent communication and remains calm and courteous under pressure.Qualifications Passion working with seniors + 6 months experience preferred! Completion of paid pre-employment trainings- provided during onboarding. Must obtain current CPR/1st Aid training (employer provided) & Oregon Food Handlers Permit Must be able to work weekends and have some schedule flexibilityPhysical Demands Lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 poundsQualifications: Language Requirement All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures.
