ViridianStaffing's (www.viridianstaffing.com) Client is looking for a General Manager for a vertically integrated Cannabis company about 40 miles outside of the Portland,Maine, area.

As the GeneralManager for this operation, you will be responsible for overseeing theday-to-day operations of cultivation, processing, manufacturing, andretail. You will develop, fine-tune, andimplement SOPs, regulations, and training programs for all aspects of thebusiness. As a proven cannabis leader,you are an expert at defining KPI's, setting strategic departmental goals,analyzing financial and performance data, and developing plans to promoteprofitability. You will have the opportunity to drive all aspects of thedepartments, including but not limited to, developing KPIs, development andimplementation of guidelines for people management, training and managing departmentheads, managing budgets, and compliance. You will collaborate with seniormanagement to set strategic goals for the organization. If you are a resultsdriven, operations leader with exceptional relationship building skills, thrivein a fast-paced, vertically integrated, cannabis environment, have a passionfor Cannabis, and excel at motivating, coaching, training, and mentoring staff;then this could be the right position for you!
You should bringwith you at least 5+ years' experience in managing a cross-functionalorganization's HR, finance, or operations team, of which at least 1+ year ofexperience should be managing a team of department heads. You should also have at least 1+ year ofexperience in managing a licensed cannabis operation and ideally have exposureto all areas of a vertically integrated cannabis operation. You are known foryour ability to build and manage multiyear forecasts, using your in depthknowledge of a variety of business functions in supply chain, finance, customerservice, human resources, inventory, etc. You should have excellentnegotiation, leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communicationskills. You should be compliance driven, while also creating a safe,customer-focused environment.  You musthave experience with Microsoft Office and at least one of the cannabis POSsystems. If you don't have experiencewith CRM or ERP systems, you should be able to ramp up on any new systemsquickly.  You'll bring with youexperience managing a P&L and budgets. Using your critical thinking and problem-solving skills, you are able toanalyze data, along with performance and operations metrics. You will have the opportunity to join andmanage a great team, who share your passion for cannabis, and are excited aboutthe opportunity to bring your exceptional strategic and continuous improvementmindset to help them grow. You do needto be able to work nights, weekends, and Holidays if necessary. If you are highly motivated, ethicalstrategic leader with exceptional people management skills, we look forward toreceiving your resume!
