Summary
The Sr. Administrative Assistant provides analytical and specialized and high-level administrative support to relieve executive, administrative and line managers of complex details and advanced administrative duties. In this role, one provides daily administrative tasks to support a specialized function(s) of the organization.Ā
Ā
Position ResponsibilitiesĀ
Scheduling meetings andĀ coordinateĀ meetingĀ logistics, including luncheonsĀ
Documenting technical meetings and follow up on action items/commitmentsĀ
Working jointly with project leads to ensure proper information and documentation transfer throughout the life of a projectĀ
Preparing and tracking Purchase RequisitionsĀ
Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports, whileĀ maintainingĀ confidentialityĀ
Coordinates activities between departments and outside partiesĀ
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practiceĀ
Work with diverseĀ groupĀ of employees toĀ assistĀ on projects as assigned by line managersĀ
Planning company functions and appreciation activitiesĀ
Overseeing the work of service/supply vendorsĀ
Escorting visitors/contractors through the building in compliance with Security policyĀ
Special projects as assignedĀ

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)Ā
Minimum of 5+ yearsā experience in a fast-paced, hands-on, employee facing office environment.⯠Manufacturing environment experience preferred.Ā
High School diploma or GED Equivalent isĀ requiredĀ or equivalent combination of experience and educationĀ
Experienced in researching,Ā organizingĀ and coordinating multiple clerical projects within tight deadlinesĀ
Experienced and proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).Ā
PreviousĀ experience working in aerospace industry is desiredĀ

The salary range for this role is:
$26 - $40AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidateās work experience, education/training, and key skills.

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (āITARā) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (āEARā).
